Girona i Girona i Girona is an installation that continues Claudio Zulian's previous works that explore the symbolic structure of our society and its relationship with a given territory. The procedure used to create this work is once again that of dialogue and the participation, where groups of citizens are called upon to explain the symbolic knots of the territory they inhabit, and in some cases to try to define, together with the artist, a new image that relates directly to them. In this way, the idea is to break the predominance of mass media in the imagination of places and society to gain access to experiences and freer political forms. Art appears as a privileged field for these experiences insofar as they allow the articulation of complex contents that affect simultaneously the social, political, personal, affective and discursive dimensions without solution of continuity. The innovation that Girona and Girona and Girona brings regarding Claudio Zulian's previous works is the articulation of the resulting images with all the material generated during the creative and analytical process. The installation becomes an archaeology of iconic production and constitutes the desire to explore the imaginary from the elites to the excluded, in a gesture of equality.
